As a Designated Operational Entity (DOE) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)/Kyoto Protocol Framework for Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects and a GHG service provider within other related GHG schemes, Foundation for Industrial Development’s goal, under the operation of Management System Certification Institute (Thailand): MASCI, is to support public and private sectors, to increase their capability to compete in global markets, and to establish sustainable development.
To achieve the goal, the organization determines its Quality Policy as follows:
“Provide services associated with CDM and other related GHG activities in a credible, independent, non-discriminatory, impartial, transparent, and competent manner following national, regional, and international standards within a quality management system including continual quality improvement.”

Our code of conduct:
- Perform duties with honesty, transparency, integrity, credibility, independence, non-discrimination, impartiality, and responsibility.
- Perform duties with professional manner, proficiency, and deliberateness.
- Safeguard confidentiality of all confidential information, and not disclose or make inappropriate use of any confidential information that is not required to be made publicly available to a third party without the client’s prior written consent. If required by law, the client should be informed before releasing confidential information to a third party.
- Avoid any conflict of interest that may compromise its ability to make impartial decisions. If any personnel finds a real or perceived conflict of interest arising with regard to any specific professional activity, this is to be disclose to the personnel’s superior any actual or perceived conflicts of interest of a direct or indirect nature of which the personnel is aware.
- Not provide any advice, consultancy or recommendation to CDM project participants of a CDM project activity under validation or verification/certification.
- Report any situation of influence or pressure from CDM project participants that may threaten their independence in the course of validation or verification/certification of a CDM project activity.
- Not be allowed to receive, make, promise, offer or approve directly or indirectly any monetary and non-monetary payment serving to facilitate the conclusion or continuation of any business deal.
- Remain committed to implementing the principles in this Code of Conduct in a conscientious, consistent and rigorous manner.
